The Adventure Videos are designed to enhance your church services and serve as discussion starters in Sunday school or small groups. This DVD includes drama sketches, special interviews, vignettes and comments on the weekly themes by people randomly interviewed on the street. Follow-up questions to each segment are provided in the Small Group Leader's Guide.

Many churches use the drama sketches, as is, during Sunday services. Others preview the sketches with their drama group and reenact them through their own presentations. This exciting video resource should be viewed early on so you can make plans to use it to enhance your upcoming worship services or small group gatherings.

  1. Terrorism in the Church (4:57): Be encouraged by the amazing testimony of the Sherbecks, missionaries to Pakistan, who courageously stood strong in the face of terrorism and continued to be faithful to God's call despite the threat of danger and the suffering they experienced.
  2. Rich Fool (4:14): Face and defeat the fear of financial insecurity with the powerful words of Luke 12:13-34. This beautiful scripture presentation combined with moving music and background video will encourage you to store up your treasures in heaven and remind you that your heavenly father can be fully trusted to care for your needs.
  3. Rejected (3:49): In this powerful sketch, a man battles feelings of anger and betrayal after his friend is chosen for the position he was hoping for - then realizes he is not the only one who has been betrayed by a friend.
  4. Skeletons (6:34): After an intense fight with her daughter, an anguished mom remembers with regret her relationship with her own mother. When she realizes that her past is affecting her current relationship with her daughter, she tries to make amends and begin again.
  5. Missionary Story (7:04): Joseph left his home and job outside of Bombay and went to Maharashtra hoping to reach those who had never heard the gospel. Although it took years of sacrifice, suffering, endurance, fasting and prayer before he saw results, Joseph refused to let the fear of failure stand in his way of fulfilling God's call. You'll be inspired by his story.
  6. Doctor's Report (5:30): A wife is worried that her husband may still have cancer. While they wait for the results of the test, she battles her fears. Her husband tries to encourage her with reminders of God's goodness. But when the time comes to get the test results, will he be strong?
  7. What If? (4:30): A man is eager to begin writing his first novel. But when his wife discovers his intentions, she quickly encourages him to give up the idea since he might fail. This comical drama illustrates how what-ifs can cripple us and hold us back from living fully.
  8. Word on the Street: What do you fear most about the future? (1:00): In this Word on the Street segment, people share their greatest fears for the future. Their answers include everything from terrorism and violence to disease and old age.
