Kid's Curriculum and Leader's Guide for Grades 1-6 - What to Do When You Don't Know What to Do

Home View cart

You’ll find that your kids take ownership of their learning as they dig into the Bible and talk about how it affects their everyday lives.

Here’s how it works:

  • During Bible-Time Projects, children work in small groups on a variety of authentic projects that take them into the world of the New Testament.
  • Bible Story Time brings all the children together in one large group to experience a creative Bible story presentation and learn about the “Adventure Gear” God provides for our mixed-up times.
  • In the Life Application segment, kids meet with the same adult leader and small group members each week.  This is where they pray for each other and talk through how they can use their Adventure Gear to trust Jesus more and more.
  • Options for Children’s Church Worship and Midweek Extras include Scripture songs by Christine Wyrtzen, game ideas, and ever-popular Critter County stories.
  • Family Action Take-home Papers provide ideas for incorporating Adventure themes into family devotions.  Easy-to-understand instructions and complete lesson plans will guide you through this eight-week Adventure.
  • Use in conjunction with our Children's Journals (grades 3-6) and Children's Activity Books (grades K-2).
